About our Backgrounds

Who Are We?

Remote Work Cultures  was founded by Anjali Bindra Patel and Shreem Ramineni: sisters, lawyers and wellbeing enthusiasts with a combined 34 years of experience in team/relationship building, inclusion and wellbeing initiatives.. 


Anjali is also the Editor at Large for Thrive Global's Overcoming Lawyer Burnout. Thrive Global, founded by Arianna Huffington, is a corporate and consumer well-being and productivity platform aimed at changing the way we work and live.  (Click here to see how we can work together to turn the tide towards improved well-being in the legal industry.)


Anjali is also a TEDx and Google Start Up Speaker, a certified wellness coach with certifications in Time Management and Productivity, and a member of the following organizations: the D.C. Bar's Lawyer Assistance Committee, a Faculty Member at WELCOA Wellness Council of America, AALS Balance in Legal Education, a NALSAP (National Association of Law Student Affairs Professionals), and Mindfulness in Law Society. 


Nationally, Anjali has been featured by Rebecca Jarvis of ABC News for her innovative efforts to help underrepresented groups and has appeared on a number of local television and media outlets. 


Anjali is also the author of Compassion Culture: Bringing Humanity To Remote Work, coming out in Winter of 2020.

HELPING REMOTE TEAMS THRIVE

The mission of REMOTE WORK CULTURES is to establish and maintain an inclusive and connected environment for remote workforces by:


1. Providing inclusive onboarding programs for remote hires;


2. Training companies how to manage remote employees to enhance productivity while preventing burnout;


3. Increasing social connection and belonging in remote teams;


4. Creating a dedicated forum for remote professionals to share wellness and inclusion resources, questions, challenges, concerns and victories.
